Story : Ten year old Ellen Norris is furious with her parents. On the first day of summer, they have moved her to a new neighbourhood, where she has no real hope of meeting any new friends  before

the start of school. And school is 2 months away. As Ellen's family watches the moving truck pull away, the neighbour's car drives over the lawn and through the window of their new house. In the back seat sits Harriet Curtis, a girl that will change Ellen's life in ways that are mysterious, and more than a little strange.  

Aquarium trouble

There have been some misunderstandings or arguing about the Aquarium's dolphins and belugas . The Parks Board is thinking of removing the dolphins and the whales from the Aquarium ! They say that they are dead bored and dying at the Aquarium , but they were rescued and cannot go back to the ocean. What is better? Live in the Aquarium or die in the wild? What do you think about that?

Save our strings!

Yes our Strings Program is in danger , But WE can get our strings back!! Write letters to the School Board saying we want our strings!! We are sending a petition out for all of you to sign . Help our school by signing the petition!!

Kind Kid Award update

Kind Kid award

The Div 6 press is hosting a special award for us , the kind kid award ! How it works is : If you see someone doing something very nice around the school grounds , write their name, div and what they did on a piece of paper and put it in the kind kid award box right in front of the office. Our judges will pick the 3 best acts of kindness , (with their permission) we will  put their story on the blog !
